Our next meeting will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday evening, May 6, 2019 in the second floor Community Room at the Waldemere Fire Station at 2070 Waldemere St. in Sarasota, FL.

Here is a Google Map link with the location: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Sarasota+County+Fire+Department+Station+2/@27.3135246,-82.5323011,15z/data=!4m8!1m2!2m1!1sfire+station+near+Waldemere+Street,+Sarasota,+FL!3m4!1s0x88c3405b3fb7fde7:0x706a968f3e07601d!8m2!3d27.3189581!4d-82.5281383?hl=en&authuser=1.

When parking at the fire station – please be aware that the wire fence enclosed area is only for firefighters–do not park in that area. If the lot is full, after 6:00 PM you can park in the lot of the medical office building just to the south of the fire station.

Minutes from our April 1st meeting will be e-mailed with the meeting reminders. To expedite our Business Meeting, minutes are not read, although members will be asked for any additions/corrections–and for approval of the minutes as written. Our business meeting will begin at 7 PM, followed by the presentation of our beading project.

Our beading project for our May meeting is the “Bezel with Bricks” variation designed and taught by Sharon Marshall, inspired by Leslie Frumin. You can make a pendant, bracelet slider, or finger ring. The Materials List and a photo are provided below. Kits will be available at the meeting from Kirsten Boyer of Bead Abode. Kit prices will vary dependent on project type, size of Rivoli, and number of beads included. If you don’t wish to work on this beading project, you are welcome to bring your own to work on during the evening.

See you at the meeting!
