This design was inspired by a real gold and gemstone bracelet Laura spotted when she was in a high-end jewelry store in Aruba. She was with her beading friends back in 2015 enjoying a shopping stop during a cruise. The first thing she thought when she saw it was, "I wonder if you can make something shaped sort of like that with beads?", and voila!

Aruba is an elegant design constructed with 11/0 seed beads, delicas, and accented with crystals and a Rivoli focal. Techniques used are circular peyote (bezeling), tubular herringbone for the ropes, and some square/ladder stitch. Participants will be furnished with a materials list. Conveniently, Donna's Beads has a great supply of everything needed for the bracelet – or use beads from your stash! Donna’s Beads kits are available in 9 colorways (kit prices are $14 and $22).
