Registration is now open for Members Only (you must be a fully paid-up renewed or new member). Laura Cole is a talented Florida-based bead instructor, designer and former bead shop owner who we're fortunate to have teach a one-day in-person workshop on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Laura will be teaching her beautiful bead-embroidered Ophelia Pendant design at Donna’s Beads in Sarasota, FL. Registration will open to non-members on December 15, 2024 if any class openings remain. The member class price is $35, and the non-member price is $55. If any non-member registers prior to December 15, 2024, your order will be cancelled and you will receive a refund less a $5 service fee.
Laura will provide a custom focal cabochon, available in 2 choices — Octopus or Seahorse, along with a template and pendant backing. You can use your own beads for the embroidered embellishments or purchase beading supplies from Donna’s Beads or other local bead store of your choice. A materials list will be provided when your registration is confirmed. Laura will also have a trunk show of non-class kits available for purchase at the class. The deadline to register and order your choice of cabochon is December 31, 2024. After that date, you will receive whatever cabochon is still available.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION & POLICIES
Registration is open to Members Only at this time. This class will be held in person at Donna’s Beads, 2717 Beneva Rd., Sarasota, FL 34232, on Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM (ET) and include a half-hour break for lunch.
The Bead Society is subsidizing workshop costs for our current members in order to provide the class at the very affordable price of $35. The price for non-members is $55 per class. If the worskhop shows as “Sold Out” and you wish to be placed on the Waiting List, please send an email to FWCBS at: flwestcoastbeadsociety@gmail.com. Please note that any non-members who enroll at the member price will have their registration cancelled and payment refunded less a $5 service fee.
Enrollment is on a first come basis. You can register and pay for the workshop by adding the class to the shopping cart (strongly recommended).
. CANCELLATION POLICY: · Effective December 20, 2024, a 10% cancellation fee will be deducted.
· Effective December 30, 2024, a 20% cancellation fee will be deducted.
· Effective January 9, 2025, a 50% cancellation fee will be deducted.

OPHELIA PENDANT
Laura’s Ophelia Pendant is an elegant design constructed with a beautiful custom rectangular cabochon surrounded by embroidery embellishment using an assortment of seed and other beads and accented with crystals. The focal is available in two styles: Octopus or Seahorse. The workshop will be held at Donna’s Beads in Sarasota, FL. You should be familiar with or learn some basic bead embroidery techniques which you can find online via YouTube, etc. Laura will provide the cabochon, a template and pendant backing. Participants will be furnished with a materials list after completing registration. Use beads from your stash for the embroidered embellishments. Donna's Beads has a great assortment of beads and supplies, or you can find them at a bead store of your choice. Laura will also have a trunk show of non-class kits available for purchase at the class.
